FAQ

Who are Swift Insight and Swift Research?

Swift Research is an independent market research agency based in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. Established in 1985, we have over 35 years experience in the industry and are governed by the UK's Market Research Society.

Swift Insight is an online community setup and managed by Swift Research to enable members of the public to volunteer to take part in research projects run by Swift Research - these usually involve testing products in your own home and providing feedback online, or attending a venue in your local area to take part in a study.

How do I become a Swift Insight member?

Click here to join Swift Insight. Joining Swift Insight is completely free of charge.

Who can join Swift Insight?

Anybody aged 16 or over living in the UK is eligible to join Swift Insight.

How do I update my details / close my account?

Currently you are unable to update your account online. If your details have changed or you wish to close your account, please contact us.

How do I check my points balance?

Rather than accruing points which you can then withdraw, we reward Swift Insight members on a per project basis with cash, vouchers or entry into prize draws. We believe this is preferable for our members who will receive incentives soon after completing a study, rather than having to wait for points to accrue.

Are my details safe?

All personal data you provide to Swift Insight and/or Swift Research will be held confidentially in accordance with the data protection act. We will never pass your details on to a third party without your permission to do so.

What type of studies will I be asked to participate in?

The projects we run are as diverse as the clients we work for! You may be invited to participate in product trials in your own home, central location tests at a venue close to you, focus groups, online surveys or other types of research.

How will Swift Research notify me about new projects?

If we are running a test we think you may be suitable for, we will usually email you in the first instance. The email will contain a link to an online survey which will check whether you meet the criteria set by our clients. The first page of the survey will give you details about the project and also the incentive to enable you to make an informed decision about whether you wish to participate or not.
